A spectacular five piece band who have their own interpretation of Irish traditional music. Driving Irish instrumental dance tunes and ballads and stories from the vast store of Irish and Scottish songs. Eitre have played together since January 2003 frequently touring Sweden and Germany, and Belgium lately. Eitre's debut CD "The Coming of Spring" was released in 2005. Eitre have played at many important festivals through the years: Umeå Folkmusikfestivalen, Musik vid Siljan and Korrö Folkmusikfestivalen in Sweden, Irish festival at Balver Höhle,Venner Folkfrühling and Saasemer Folk- and Shanty Festival in Germany, Ennis Trad Festival in Ireland, Haapavesi Folkfestival in Finland, Les Nuits Celtique and Dranouter Folk Festival in Belgium.
